RANDY B. BIRCH is a shareholder in the Salt Lake City, Utah law firm of Bostwick & Price, P.C., having joined the firm January 1, 2004, and he previously practiced law in Heber City, Utah as Birch Law Offices, and is a former shareholder in the Salt Lake City law firms of Bertch & Birch and Walstad & Babcock. He was previously employed as in-house general counsel for U.S. General, Inc.  He has over 20 years of experience in the practice of law, primarily in construction (Mechanic's liens and bond claims) and commercial law, and also has substantial experience with domestic relations, property disputes, contract disputes, criminal matters, personal injury actions, and landlord/tenant disputes, and has extensive experience regarding government contracting and claims litigation before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, State and Federal Courts, and Mr. Birch has previously been involved in management of outside litigation counsel and California litigation.  His current practice areas are primarily construction law; collections; personal injury; and commercial litigation. Mr. Birch has served as a small claims Judge in Salt Lake and Summit Counties in the State of Utah for the past 20 years. He speaks fluent Spanish.

Mr. Birch has written numerous articles for several publications, such as the Intermountain Contractor and various local newspapers, covering a wide range of topics relevant to the construction industry, and has been active in various construction trade associations. He is experienced with computer applications in the legal field including docketing, litigation control and support, legal research, document management, discovery production and analysis, etc.
